New friends

So this past week-end was a lot of fun. Hector, a journalism student at the Universidade that has been showing us around campus wanted to hang out with us on Saturday. We had no difinitive plans, but he invited us to come hang out with his friends who live at the Lagoa. We hopped on a bus and went.
His friends are also students at the universidade but they live in this super cool community of cabins. They´re like these small, two bedroom cabins that have tons of character. There´s about 8 or 10 of them altogether, but they´re set in the green hills and it´s so beautiful.
We hung out with our new friends Murilo, Pedro 3 and Pedro 4 (we have met many Pedros on this voyage, so we had to start numbering them off). They are all really cool and very hospitable. They took us out for pizza at a really good restaurant where they absolutely refused to let us pay for their meals and then we all just hung around at their cabin and listened to music.
Murilo is a journalism student as well who speaks pretty good English. He is a fellow vegetarian too.
Pedro 3 speaks hardly any English, so we got along communicating with him by very broken Portuguese and sign language, but he´s sweet. Pedro 3 is a culinary student and invited us over the next day for a ´Brasileira bbq`.
Pedro 4 lived in the U.S. for several years, so he speaks perfect English, but likes to pretend that he doesn´t just to piss us off. It´s quite funny actually.
I need to go read my text book for now, so I´ll write more later, but this was the setting for my fun week-end.
